ARTEETHER INJECTION 150mg 2ml
Indications:
Arteether injection is an effective anti-malarial medicine which is used for the treatment of severe malaria including cerebral malaria caused by plasmodium falciparum strains when other medicines are not effective.
Dosage and Administration:
Normal dosage for adults:
Intramuscular injection, 160mg for the first dose, 80mg for each time, once a day from the second day, 5 days in total.
Normal dosage for children:
Intramuscular injection, the first dose according to body weight, calculated as 3.2mg/kg , from the 2nd day to the 5th day, 1.6mg/kg per body weight, once a day.
Side Effects:
Cough, diarrhea, dizziness, fatigue, headache, joint and muscle pain and stiffness, loss of appetite, nausea, stomach pain, tiredness, trouble in sleeping, vomiting, and weakness.
Precautions:
If the product is cold and solidifies, it can be used after mild temperature dissolution.
Drug interactions:
Avoid using with drugs that prolong QT interval.

Keep away from light, sealed and store in a cool place
